The Pines from which I extracted this Essential Oil have been felled by the wind during the Vaia Thunderstorm, on November 2018. They grew in a mixed Arolla Pine - Norway Spruce forest at about 1900 m high, in the municipality of Valfloriana, Trentino, Dolomites.
 
The scent of the Arolla Pine is the classic mountain hut scent. You can feel Forest, warm Wood, Citrus Fruits, Fresh Air, Pine Needles. Its light and ethereal, but with strong roots and a citine note. Usually it is the most appreciated among my Essences.
 
Arolla Pines connect Earth and Sky: in times of anxiety, sadness, when we feel tired or depressed, it helps us 
 
Il Cirmolo è l'Albero che mette in comunicazione Cielo e Terra: nei momenti di sconforto, ansia, depressione e tristezza it helps us to look within ourselves and to find our inner Heaven. For this reason it is also an excellent remedy for insomnia. It is used in the bath (a few drops in a handful of coarse salt), a couple of drops directly on the pillowcase (it does not stain or grease!) before going to bed or in the diffuser.
 
As with all essential oils, contact with eyes and mucous membranes must be absolutely avoided; and it is a good habit to keep it out of the reach of children.
